Acceptable Recyclable Waste

Pure Earth Recycling (NJ), Inc. is fully permitted to accept both liquid and solid hazardous wastes which are contaminated by used or unused petroleum distillates, crude oil, and coal tars. A partial list of wastes which fall into this category include EPA Listed wastes K048, K049, K050, K051, K052, K169, K170, K171, K172, F037, F038, U002, U019, U055, U165, U220, as well as D018 wastes. While certain acceptance limitations exist, Pure Earth Recycling can readily accept these wastes in either a liquid or solid state.

When utilizing the SAREX process for the purpose of separating and recovering oil fractions from RCRA hazardous wastes, the process has been deemed exempt from RCRA Part "B" treatment permits typical of incinerators and directly fired "desorbers". The specific federal recycling/reclamation exemption which is directly applicable to the SAREX process is codified at 40 CFR 261.6(c)(1). The exemption¹s applicability has been verified by the US EPA as well as numerous RCRA authorized state agencies.
